Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience - Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Assist with basic vital signs such as weight and height - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Proficient in using front desk software systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus Note:
